The Toadstool Bookshop opened its first store in 1972 in downtown Peterborough, NH. A second store opened in Keene in 1983. The two stores stock large selections of books in a wide variety of subjects with a strong emphasis on local interests. You will also find used book departments in both stores, the most comprehensive in the Peterborough store. We also carry CDs and LPs.
