Leo F. Buscaglia, Ph.D., (1924–1998) wrote more than a dozen books, most of which deal with the experience of love. At one time, five of his books appeared on the New York Times bestseller list concurrently. His first book, Love, was a continual bestseller for more than 20 years. George Newbern has appeared in Father of the Bride, Father of the Bride II, Evening Star, Adventures in Babysitting, and many other films. On television, he has had roles on Scandal, Friends, Nip/Tuck, Hot in Cleveland, CSI, and more. He is also known for providing the voice of Superman in Justice League and for narrating audiobooks.

Marietta DePrima is an experienced actor and audiobook narrator who graduated from Northwestern University. In addition to her role in the Golden Globe winner Lady Bird, she has worked on over 150 episodes of television, including series regular roles on Dear John and The Hughleys, and her theatre credits include productions at The Goodman, The Old Globe, and The Lambs. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, George Newbern, and their three children.
