The Head & The Hand Books

The Head & The Hand opened a community-focused bookstore in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia in May 2019. Our goal for the space is to provide thoughtfully curated fiction and nonfiction, a local literature section, and children’s/middle grade books to the neighborhood and beyond. We host readings, workshops, children’s programming, including free story time, and more! We’re located at Fireball Printing, our friends and longtime chapbook printers.
