Readings is an independent retailer of books and music, with eight shops operating in Melbourne. First established in 1969, we are passionate about Australian books and authors, the book industry, and seeking out and raising up debut and Australian authors. Our focus is on building and giving back to the community, through our foundation, the Readings Prizes and all our marketing endeavours. Readings was named international bookstore of the year in 2016.
