Magpie Books was founded with the mission to provide a space for community members to gather, read, write, and uplift social and political movements. Magpie’s curation prioritises literature written by Black, Indigenous, racialized, queer and trans authors and topics that focus on liberation, oppression, activism, grassroots organisation, and mutual aid.
