Farley's Bookshop

New Hope, PA

In 1967 Jim and Nancy Farley, with financial assistance from Fred Rogers and James Michener, bought The New Delaware Bookshop from Laura Brookman, who had been in business for 33 years. The store was at the corner of Stockton and Ferry streets and remained there until Jim and Nancy moved the bookshop in 1971 to its current location at 44 South Main Street.

After Jim and Nancy passed away the Farley family sold the shop to longtime employees Buffy Hastings, Katie Hastings and Charlie Balfour.
