Dogtown Books is a locally owned, independent bookstore, taking its name from the abandoned inland Dogtown settlement, serving Gloucester, MA since 1997. Dogtown Books, under new ownership in 2018, is an inclusive, accessible space that celebrates a shared love for the written word, encourages the open exchange of ideas, and seeks to promote and enrich Gloucester's extraordinary artistic legacy.
