Covered Treasures Bookstore is owned by Tommie Plank. She and Leona Lacroix opened in 1993 and Tommie is now the sole-owner. The store is housed in a historic building in downtown Monument, Colorado. Covered Treasures is a general bookstore featuring new and used books, journals, games, puzzles and unique greeting cards, many created by local artists. The store hosts author appearances, poetry readings, book clubs and is very active in the community.
