Bundok Books, "a mountain of inclusivity in the boondocks", is a startup independent bookstore in Puyallup, WA raising funds to provide a safe community space. "Bundok" (Tagalog), where the word “boondocks” is derived from, means “mountain”. We feature books for all age groups--from baby to adult--about nature, history, and activities in the local western Washington mountains, as well as books on Filipino culture. We also highlight local, lesser-known, and underrepresented authors and stories.
