The Book Bin thrives in the Northbrook (Illinois) Shopping Plaza and has been a local favorite since 1971. A full service bookstore existing in under 2000 square feet, we specialize in finding the perfect book for the individual. We have the usual inventory of a general bookstore but the heart of our service lies in getting whatever you need quickly. Ordering through our website is simple and allows pick-up at the store, shipment to you or to someone else (gift wrapping available on request). We do a personalized out-of-print search which has been over 90% successful and we dabble in gift items like tshirts, book and even pictures made from the words of classic novels (Lit-ographs).
We provide the reading community with my an independent alternative to chain-shopping, and we're thinking outside the box of Northbrook towards the surrounding suburbs like Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Glenview, Highland Park, Highwood, Libertyville, Lincolnshire, Morton Grove, Northfield, Riverwoods, Wheeling, Wilmette, Winnetka with quality books and service as well.
