Ben Hinton resides right outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with his wife, two kids, and their family dog and cat. He is passionate about teaching people about faith, the pressure to perform, and a growth mindset which he covers in his book through themes such as progress over perfection and pivoting by putting your plans in the sand. After having sustained a brain injury as a young adult, he has turned his life experiences into messages of hope. He aims to reveal hope in the midst of trial by running through adversity. He spent several years as a youth basketball coach. He also has previous experience as a Paraprofessional working with the autistic and life skills support. He has been chasing very audacious running goals in the marathon distance since 2013 and hopes to soon qualify for the Olympics.
