Paranormal researcher Hans Holzer documents more than fifty locations where he has personally investigated ghosts, often with the assistance of a psychic. Complete with details about each spectral phenomenon as well as the stories of the ghosts themselves, this book tells who they were and why they are found in each location. Where the Ghosts Are allows you to visit such fascinating sites as:

โ— America's most haunted house, the California Whaley House

โ— The ghosts in New Jersey's "Spy House"

โ— The ghosts at the Octagon in Washington, D.C.

โ— Toronto's haunted nightclub

โ— The haunted frigate U.S. Constellation in Baltimore Harbor

โ— The ghosts at St. Marks-in-the-Bouwerie in New York City

โ— The ghosts of Longleat Palace, Bath, England

โ— And many more

Hans Holzer (1920-2009) became fascinated by the supernatural at an early age through the stories his uncle told him. His research took him to haunted houses all over the world. Known as "the Father of the Paranormal," he wrote over 140 books on psychic phenomena, including Ghost Hunter, America's Restless Ghosts, and Life Beyond.
