Kim Doren has been active in sports her entire life. In 1977 she was San Diego's Prep Athlete of the Year. She is a Stanford graduate where she was the No 1 player on the badminton team and starting catcher on the softball team. Kim has a diverse background, which includes being the director of advertising/marketing for Cobra Golf, working on outback cattle stations in Australia and teaching English in Washington, D.C. Her many volunteer activities have included coaching Bobby Sox softball and serving as a Girl Scout leader.
For the past 40 years Charlie Jones has been one of the most versatile broadcasters in sports. He has worked for ABC and NBC and covered the NFL for almost four decades. He has broadcast 28 different sports in 51 states and 25 foreign countries, including three Olympic Games, the first women's NCAA basketball championship, and golf on the LPGA and PGA tours including the Ryder Cup. The Pro Football Hall of Fame honored him in 1997 with the Pete Rozelle Broadcasting Excellence Award. Charlie, who is originally from Ft. Smith, AR, has lived in La Jolla for the past 32 years.
