When I saw Undercover Latina compared to the Gallagher Girls series AND that the main character is part of an organization that combats white supremacy and white extremist terrorists, I knew I needed to pick it up!....I really like Dungeons and Dragons so the game/graphic novel elements were so so cool to see! As a Black nerd who didn't see myself reflected in nerdy spaces when I was younger, I love seeing these spaces in fiction!”

Andréa, has to go undercover as a white girl, to befriend another teen boy, whose estranged father is a white supremacist. Andréa struggles with hiding her true Latina identity while sussing out clues as to where the attack may occur. And, along the way, she makes friends and has her first crush. This was fun and fast as well as politically on point. Readers of Spy School and other spy books will adore this book. Plus, Victoria Villarreal is a fantastic narrator!”
