Akimbo Books is an online literary resource and bookstore geared toward small presses and contemporary literature.

Akimbo’s inception began during the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic––after watching, and experiencing first hand, the challenges booksellers and literary organizations faced throughout the year. Basically, it’s one example of a quick pivot, an effort to keep doing what we love––connecting readers with small presses and the authors, poets, and translators they publish.
