Afrori Books is Sussex's only bookshop that specialises in books by black authors. With every genre available, come to diversify your bookshelf. Founded by Carolynn Bain (a bookseller rising star 2022, Bookseller of the year 2023). The bookshop aims to amplify black voices in the city and the nation. Founder of Brighton Book Festival, that takes place in June each year. They also run Brighton's only Anti Racist Kids (ARK) club forvschools in Sussex and other workshops.
