“At HEBE, beauty is possible. Holy body horror! The perfect blend of horror and society's obsession with staying young. My skin was crawling at the end of this novel. Main character Sophia is a female Patrick Bateman from American Psycho, and I was constantly left saying wtf when reading her POV towards the end. I loved the flashbacks to young Sophia, as they really helped me understand how she became so unhinged. Youthjuice is a sickening, twisted take on Goop, and you will not be able to not see Gwyneth Paltrow (who honestly already scares me a little already) as the inspiration for the CEO, Tree. ”
