Summary

Much is expected of a merfolk princess, and being a lesbian is not one of them.

Laela’s adventurous spirit and curiosity — sexual and otherwise — takes her far from the palace and prying eyes to explore the shipwrecks on the ocean floor. Out there, she has the privacy to experience her first time with another mermaid, and she believes her secret is safe — until her lover betrays her, selling their secret to the highest bidder.

On the brink of being forced into a marriage to a merman, Laela takes one last exploration voyage to a freshly sunk vessel. The first on the scene, Laela has the pick of the spoils — including a beautiful human woman, preserved alive in the hull of the ship.

After experiencing true bliss, will Laela be able to return to the palace, or will her magically inclined mentor be able to help her pass as a human on the surface?
