Cress In Waterbee

Summary

1877 - Trapped in her friend's house by a violent mob, 13-year-old Romah has no choice but to help deliver Cress, a biracial child born to secretly married parents. Romah loves delivering the newspaper, but it's a whole other thing to be the news herself. Especially when her own friends and neighbors turn on her.
