Summary

The Enneagram isn't about classifying people into a certain type according to a few questions and leaving them there with all the judgments that come with their personality type. In reality, the Enneagram is a complex system that keeps on giving you secret internal knowledge about yourself and your psyche the more you delve into it. The Enneagram recognizes nine types of personalities, each with their own attributes that interact with each other to form the core of your being. By studying each personality, you can get a deeper understanding of people, their motives and desires, and the core beliefs that surround everything they do.

The Enneagram is also important because of the knowledge it can give you about your words and actions. We tend to have very little information about ourselves because most of our motives and drives are so inherent to us that we have lost any trace of their emergence. The behavior that we normalize might just be toxic, and we aren't able to see it for what it is because we are blinded by ourselves.
