Learn moreTimothy Nonn lost his sight to glaucoma over a period of ten years. He has written poetry that reflects his journey from sight to blindness. His poems are hauntingly beautiful as he learns to see the world in a new way, not with his eyes but with his heart.
According to Timothy, โThese poems reflect my own experience of losing my eyesight later in life. I am not attempting to speak for other people who are blind and have different life experiences. Hopefully, both the blind and the sighted will find some measure of commonality in my poems.โ
Tim Nonnย has a Masters of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary and a doctorate in ethics from the Graduate Theological Union. Currently, he is a school board member of the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District. He retired in 2012 to devote himself to writing. He recently finished his first novel, The Black Prison.
