Gayle Brown is the debut author of A Deadly Game. Although she started her career as an elementary school teacher, then switched gears to work in her family's business while she raised her children, she now writes full-time and is a writing mentor for The Book Incubatora-novel writing program. Gayle's passion for writing started when she could hold a crayon in her hand, using the walls as her storyboard, and it hasn't stopped. Whether partaking in creative writing classes and workshops or writing short stories and books, she has connected pen to paper or fingers to keyboard, with some of her work appearing on blogs and parenting websites. When not reading or writing, you can find her spending time with her family in Florida.

A SAG-AFTRA voice, stage, and screen actor and David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University MFA Grad, she has spent her life in the North and the South. Having performed across the globe and known for her affinity for dialects, she has also been praised for her impeccable comic timing as well as her ability to make you cry. When she isn't narrating, she's acting, coaching, directing, fishing, watching NASCAR, raising chickens, doing crossword puzzles, "mom"ing her identical twin daughters, and trying to pay it forward.
