Learn moreThe kingdom knows their princess as Snow White, but the Queen Francesia, her stepmother, sees her for what she truly is, a monster.
None other than the queen can see beyond the illusion of beauty. None see that she appears to be bone and ashes. No one else realizes that the child drinks blood and even kills.
As the child grows, so does her thirst. Francesia knows she must stop Bone Ash, lest the princess devastate the entire realm. One will be the harbinger of the other's death, but who will survive?
Of Bones and Ashes also includes the short stories "The Cost of Treachery" and "The Cost of Enchantment" as well as an alternative ending.
Nicole Zoltack is a USA Today bestselling author who loves to write romances. Of course. She did marry her first kiss, after all! When she's not writing about knights, superheroes, or witches, she enjoys spending time with her loving husband, three energetic young boys, and two precious little girls. She enjoys riding horses (pretending they're unicorns, of course!) and going to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire dressed in garb. She'll also read anything she can get her hands on. Her current favorite TV shows are The Witcher and Stranger Things.
Lucy Rayner is an award-winning British actress. Bitten hard by the acting bug whilst performing at the Edinburgh Festival as a teenager, she has gone on to work on both sides of the Atlantic in a number of theater productions and films, many of which have screened at festivals around the world. She loves to tell stories and voice characters in a number of British regional accents and has narrated many wonderful audiobooks. She has a master's degree in history from the University of Edinburgh and is a graduate of the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City.
