He has conducted special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense, and unconventional warfare missions. He received a Masters of administrative science from Johns Hopkins University. He is also a U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command proclaimed "Mad Scientist." He lives in North Carolina with his wife of forty-seven years, in a multi-generational home.
