Learn moreResidents of Rudolph keep the spirit of Christmas alive year-round—but their joy is threatened when a group of grinches visits the town, in the charming fourth installment of the Year-Round Christmas Mystery series.
It's the week before Thanksgiving, and Merry Wilkinson, owner of Mrs. Claus's Treasures, is preparing for a weekend reunion of her mother's college friends. But when the group of women comes into Merry's shop, Merry is met with frosty attitudes and cold hearts.
The women argue amongst themselves constantly, and the bickering only intensifies after one of the friends is poisoned. With her father's role as Santa in danger due to his proximity to the crime, Merry will need to use all of her investigative gifts to wrap this mystery up and save Santa and her favorite holiday.
Vicki Delany is one of Canada's most prolific and varied crime writers and a national bestseller in the US. She is currently writing four cozy mystery series: The Tea by the Sea mysteries, the Sherlock Holmes Bookshop series, the Year Round Christmas mysteries, and as Eva Gates, the Lighthouse Library series. A past president of the Crime Writers of Canada and a co-organizer of Women Killing it, a crime writing festival, her work has been nominated for the Derringer, the Bony Blithe, the Ontario Library Association Golden Oak, and the Arthur Ellis Awards. She is the recipient of the 2019 Derrick Murdoch Award for contributions to Canadian crime writing. Vicki lives and writes in bucolic Prince Edward County, Ontario.
Amy Deuchler is a native of the Chicago area. She spent her childhood reading and performing in plays, so narrating audiobooks is the dream job for this librarian-theater nerd. She was a finalist in the Independent Audiobook Awards for Best Mystery (2021) and a finalist for Best Female Narrator and Best Mystery (2020). Her voice is warm, intuitive, and clever, and has been described by listeners as "a very smooth voice" and "a delightful tone." When not narrating, Amy can be found sipping tea, designing lights and scenery for theater, creating handmade crafts, and biking. She also loves to spend time exploring the Milwaukee/Chicago area with her boyfriend and doting on their three cats. Amy is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and the Audio Publishers Association (APA).
