Maine is in prison for a crime she didn't commit.

For once, the prisoner's cry of "innocence" is true. She didn't do anything wrong.

Being there of her own free will doesn't change the fact that she's locked up in a mythical prison, surrounded by the worst of the worst.

Disguised as an oni demon, Maine hopes to find the key to Chaos's realm.

That key could be Earth's last chance of survival, and it's being held by the creature who killed her father.

Turns out mythical prisons are just as gang-ridden as human ones. Except here, people don't use a shiv. They use a fireball.

Can Maine survive prison politics and terrible food long enough to find the key? Or will she be metaphorically stabbed in the back in the form of a disintegration spell?

Michael Anderle is the internationally bestselling author of more than forty urban fantasy and science fiction novels, including the Kutherian Gambit, Opus X, Federal Histories, and Exceptional S. Beaufont series. He is also coauthor of many more under his company, LMBPN Publishing, which has sold over 3 million books.

Ramy Vance is a Canadian who lives in Edinburgh with his wife and young child. He writes urban fantasy thrillers set in the GoneGod World (and elsewhere).

Jenn Lee has been a working actor since the age of eighteen, when she moved to New York city to star in the world's longest running musical, The Fantasticks, as the youngest Girl ever. She is a veteran of three Broadway shows, including Les Miserables (as both Cosette and Éponine). Jenn has trained classically with Esper Studios and the Actors Movement Studio. She has been a union member for over twenty-five years and worked both around the country and in Europe. Her career in voice-over includes three documentaries for PBS: The Swamp and The Great War and Custer for Ken Burns. With over forty books recorded, she continues to be a director, teacher, coach, cancer survivor, fabric artist, and mother!
