Perhaps the messiest and one of the more controversial franchises out there, Jordan and Micah do their best to latch onto the positives in this series. There’s much to love in Shazam, Wonder Woman 1984, and Aquaman. There’s also much to hate in Suicide Squad, Justice League, and Black Adam. Their patience is put to the ultimate test in this franchise, but not without a few lights at the end of the tunnel. Jordan Marie McCaw works for a publishing company in Southern Oregon. A 2022 recipient of the Haines & Friends Visual Arts Grant, she also writes a blog titled Recount & Reveal about bizarre historical events and co-hosts the McCaw Podcast Universe with her husband. Her fiction has appeared in Showbear Family Circus, Teleport Magazine, The Sirens Call, Chilling Tales for Dark Nights, Creepy, and more.

Micah McCaw is the co-host of the McCaw Podcast Universe and a musician from Southern Oregon. He’s released three solo albums, toured the country several times over, and has opened for Huey Lewis and the News and Pablo Cruise. He is also one of the composers for the independent film Obscura.
