Curious place, Corfu! Civilized, loving but simultaneously explosive. (…) Hunger and dreams,... accompanied by music. Terrific combination that chases away insecurity. Most used word was "berese" i.e. credit. People of Corfu owed their harvest, their job, their existence and their money and they constantly lacked money to buy a new clothe. The only thing they did’nt owe to any dealer or lender was the "Holy madness" they carried in their genes and romanticism that illuminated their difficult lives. In this long audio book, the author and famous actors, using the idiomatic language of the island give life to four tragicomic tales of the Eptanisa . Persons at these stories become alive and are given the opportunity to live for a while with us. In addition we have the opportunity to live the local history. "NIORANTES, Four comico-tragic shrt stories", is a part of the "time machine" that leads us to our past but also leads our past towards us, so that we come to know it .
