Sabina Macchiavelli nasce a Bologna nel 1964. La letteratura la circonda fin dall'infanzia, essendo il padre Loriano un affermato scrittore. Una volta ottenuto un dottorato sulla docufiction radiofonica alla University of South Wales di Cardiff, si è dedicata all'insegnamento (di scrittura creativa e di lingue straniere) e all'organizzazione di eventi. Dopo aver pubblicato articoli su varie riviste, ha dato alle stampe, fra il 2013 e il 2019, due libri scritti insieme al padre ("E a chi resta, arrivederci" e "La bambina del lago"), per poi esordire col suo primo romanzo "Più di così si muore" (Giraldi Editore, 2019).
