Learn moreIn the early twenty-second century, humanity has spread through the solar system—and their electromagnetic signals have traveled hundreds of light years. An alien race called the Oghaldzon has decided that mankind is dangerously insane . . . and must be forcibly taken under control.
The invasion fleet's technology is decades ahead of Earth's best. They have more ships than the human fleets combined, and a seemingly-inexhaustible number of ground troops. And they're not afraid to kill billions of people.
Humanity is outnumbered, outgunned, and divided. But they have a few cards left to play—and they're not going down without a fight.
Born in Sydney, Australia, Leo Champion came to the U.S. for college and wound up getting more of an education than he'd planned for. After being kicked out of community college and then dropping out of Harvard Extension, he went into journalism and wound up as publisher of the Allston-Brighton Voice. A switch in careers followed-he became a copywriter, then a marketer and PR director, for a couple of startups before going out on his own as a freelance marketing/communications consultant. His novels are an excuse to live like Jack Kerouac and Ernest Hemmingway . . . eventually.
Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, Christopher Nuttall has been planning science fiction novels since he learned to read. Chris created an alternate history website and eventually graduated to writing full-length novels. Studying history independently allowed him to develop worlds that hung together and provided a base for storytelling. After graduating from university, Chris started writing full-time. He currently lives in Edinburgh with his wife, muse, and critic, Aisha.
