It was standardized in the 19th century by Christian missionaries, who developed a written form using the Latin alphabet.
Our Sesotho language course is designed to offer you an accessible and engaging introduction to this fascinating language. Tailored for beginners, the course aligns with the A1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This means that by the end of the course, you will have a basic understanding of Sesotho and be able to engage in simple conversations on everyday topics. Understanding the unique sounds of Sesotho is crucial, and our interactive exercises help you master these foundational elements. From there, you gradually builds vocabulary and acquire phrases that are essential for everyday communication.
