David Gow is the author of five full-length stage plays, and an award winning internationally broadcast radio adaptation. His plays have seen productions across Canada with many of Canada's most prestigious theatres (Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton), across the United States and increasingly around the world. In May of 2000, Gow's play Cherry Docs, premiered at Philadelphia's Wilma Theatre, starring David Strathairn. It was produced in Halifax and Montreal in 2003 and has also seen translation into Spanish, Hebrew and Polish and German. David's other plays include The Friedman Family Fortune, produced at Centaur Theatre, and The Flight Of Peter Pumpkin-eater. Cherry Docs has been performed at several prestigious German theaters. Relative Good is David Gow's most recent work for the stage and was staged in New York during 2007 with the title Arrivals.
Ari Cohen was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and has divided his professional life between Vancouver and Toronto. An actor in Theatre, Film and Television for over 25 years, heโs appeared in the films of Aaron Sorkin, Ricky Gervais, David Cronenberg, Patricia Rozema, Bruce Mcdonald, Guy Maddin and many others. Series regular roles include Shoot The Messenger (CBC), Gangland Undercover (History/A&E), and My Babysitter is A Vampire (Disney). He has recurred and guest starred on countless American and Canadian TV shows for Network and Cable alike. In the world of advertising, Ari has voiced campaigns for RBC, Bell, Shell, Shreddies, Toyota and many more. A highly regarded stage actor, he has originated roles in the plays of Hannah Moscovitch, Michael Healey, Diane Flacks and Adam Pettle, has starred in numerous Canadian premieres and performed at virtually every major theatre in Canada.
Trick Horan (they/she) is a Toronto-based researcher, writer, and multimedia artist. A George Brown Theatre School alumna and University of Toronto student, Trick is currently pursuing studies in queer/trans theory as well as media theory. From 2016-2018 Trick was Co-Artistic Director of LET ME IN Theatre where they co-produced and directed experimental queer adaptations of works by Shakespeare, Chekhov, and Dante Alighieri. Trick's passion for experimental text-based theatre has led them to a career in queer academia and creative non-fiction, their current research focus is on the complexities of trans subjectivity in a new-media context. During the pandemic Trick has primarily directed their energies towards building communities of care and practicing radical non-productivity.
