I lost my dad young and my mom was a little too caught up in addiction to do that raising thing. No matter how many households I had to volley between, I took this book series with me - it taught me how to grow up with heart and find strength in powerful friendship.

Reviews

As far as I'm concerned, Harry Potter is the great Epic of our time. It uses accessible language and sincere storytelling to meditate on deeply complex themes like Death and Love. What's more, with its clear message of active resistance and social justice, it will remain relevant so long as the world remains imperfect.

Beza Wondie, Politics and Prose

As Harry faces some of his most difficult challenges and the stage is set for the inevitable confrontation between Harry and He-who-must-not-be-named, Jim Dale’s astonishing performance keeps hearts pounding and pulses racing right up to the final words.
