Emma Pignatiello wrote her debut romantic suspense novel, Last Shot, because not enough people were being murdered in the romance books she was reading. She lives by the coast in Western Australia near Walyalup (Fremantle) on the land of the Whadjuk Noongar people. In disguise at her day job, she attempts to make teenagers care more about writing than about how many days she's worn her cringe millennial shoes in a row. Emma is dedicated to making her stories authentic - she frequented many wineries in the name of research for the Blood Wine Dynasty series but has not (yet) committed any murders.

Nic English (Reader)
Nic English will next be seen reprising his role in the second season of the popular BBC/Stan period drama series TEN POUND POMS alongside Michelle Keegan. He recently featured in the much loved long running Australian drama series HOME AND AWAY, as well as Celeste Barber's Netflix series WELLMANIA, and the Peacock/Stan series JOE VS. CAROLE.

Nic's other screen credits include the Netflix series RECKONING alongside Sam Trammell and Aden Young, SBS web series THE TAILINGS, the popular ABC comedy series ROSEHAVEN, Greg McLean's WOLF CREEK 2, Nick Matthew's ONE EYED GIRL, independent feature CREW CUT and AFTRS Short Film THE REPLICA.

Nic has appeared on stage in the acclaimed production of CONSENT for Outhouse Theatre Company/Seymour Centre, ALEPPO. A PORTRAIT OF ABSENCE for the Adelaide Festival as well as END OF THE RAINBOW, THE MISANTHROPE, HOLDING THE MAN, THE GLASS MENAGERIE, THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (Abridged) and NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH for State Theatre Company South Australia.

Nic English graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2017.

Elisa Colla (Reader)
Elisa Colla is an established actor and soprano who has graced many stages both
nationally and internationally.
Most notably, Elisa was chosen by Dame Julie Andrews to take over the lead role of Eliza
Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY (Opera Australia/GFO) during its Melbourne season.
Most recently, she appeared in Ensemble Theatre's production of MASTER CLASS in the
role of Sharon Graham.
Her other credits include: Nessarose in WICKED (GFO), Anne Egerman in A LITTLE
NIGHT MUSIC (Victorian Opera), Female Standby in THE MOUSETRAP (Crossroads Live
Australia), u/s Cosette in LES MIS�RABLES (Cameron Mackintosh/Michael Cassel
Group), Cinderella in INTO THE WOODS (Bloom Creative) and Maria in WEST SIDE
STORY (Packemin Productions).
She has originated and performed roles in workshop presentations of AENEAS, The
Musical (Melbourne Recital Centre) Kingsford Smith - The Musical (GFO), GOLD
DIGGERS (Soft Tread Enterprises) and was a 2013 Finalist in the prestigious Rob Guest
Endowment Award.
