Mike Brownlow is a best-selling writer and illustrator of books for children. These include the hugely popular Ten Little series, illustrated by Simon Rickerty. One of the first books he created was Little Robots, which was subsequently developed into a much-loved animated TV show in the UK and more than 70 other countries. Mike lives in Somerset, UK with his wife. They have three grown-up daughters and a clutch of grandchildren.
Simon Rickerty has written and illustrated many picture books for children, including Crayon and The Peanut, and illustrated others, including I Don’t Want to Be a Pea! and I Am Not a Copycat! He has been shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize. He has a degree in art and design from the London College of Communication and earned a master’s degree in illustration at the Royal College of Art. He lives in rural Bedfordshire, UK.
