Summary

James McCormick, a lone conservative retired civil servant, suffers a serious heart attack while dining on a Saturday afternoon in his favorite haunt next to the Thames. His acquaintance solely through Facebook with a group of cinephile has made him an internet friend with Vivi Philibert in France, who will be the only one that will seek him out when he does not honor their afternoon "appointment" on the Internet. As he fights for his life, Vivi will discover her own while searching his past, in an effort to gather information that might help him.
