Summary

War in Heaven is the first novel Charles Williams published, and also his most comic. The Holy Graal has been stolen and the magician who stole it is up to no good—wanting to use it to amply his own powers for his nefarious ends. An Anglican archdeacon steals it back, and together with a Catholic duke, they seek to keep it safe. When the magician blackmails the archdeacon all seems lost—and that's when Prester John shows up...
