In The Tale of Two Bad Mice, two mice, upset at learning the food in a dollhouse is fake, go on a vandalism spree. When the little girl who owns the dollhouse sees the destruction, she puts a policeman doll outside the doll house to prevent any more vandalism. To make up for their nefarious deeds, the two mice put a crooked sixpence in the doll's stocking on Christmas Eve and tidy up the house with a dust-pan and broom. The fifth of Beatrix Potter's 22 charmingly illustrated tales of animals in amusing situations, The Tale of Two Bad Mice has delighted children since its release in 1904.
Helen Beatrix Potter (1866-1943) was an English writer, illustrator, scientist, and conservationist best known for her children's books featuring animals. Written as a gift for the son of her former governess, The Tale of Peter Rabbit was published in 1901. Its success enabled her to commit to full-time writing and illustrating. Potter wrote about 30 books; the best known being her 24 children's tales.

She has appeared in over 500 plays on BBC radio, voiced countless television and radio adverts, narrated copious audiobooks (some of which have won awards, including Earphones), narrated an array of documentaries, created voices for animations and video games, and voiced audio guides for some of the greatest art galleries and museums in the world.
