Jane Yolen is an award-winning author of children's books rooted in folklore. The recipient of many awards, including the Regina Medal, the Caldecott Honor, and the World Fantasy Award, she attended Smith College and received her master's degree in education from the University of Massachusetts. When not writing, she composes songs and enjoys telling stories on the stage. Born and raised in New York City, she currently resides in Hatfield, Massachusetts.
Heidi E. Y. Stemple is an experienced author who specializes in children's books, short stories, and poems. Growing up, she never wanted to be a writer. She went on to become a probation officer and, at the age of 28, realized she wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps. The daughter of renowned children's author Jane Yolen, she went on to publish over twenty-five books. She currently resides on a big farm in Massachusetts.
Joel Froomkin is a multiโEarphones award-winning narrator, an Audie nominee, a Society of Voice Arts award winner, and a multi-Independent Audio Book Awards winner who has recorded over 400 titles. A classically trained actor with an MFA in theatre from USC, he is a dialect specialist and has taught accents and speech at Tisch School of the Arts and has coached accents for major regional theaters, Broadway stalwarts, and national tours.
