In a Mexican diamond mine, Detective Philip Marlowe must knab a thief! Get this and get it straight. Crime is a sucker’s road and those who travel it wind up in the gutter, the prison or an early grave. There’s no other end, but they never learn. Let me give you an example. Philip Marlowe was hired to find a thief and he did, a thousand miles from home. What he found was a fresh corpse in the closet and all because the only woman in sight wouldn’t play fair.

Gene Levitt was an American television writer, director, and producer who wrote for The Adventures of Philip Marlowe throughout the late '40s and early '50s. He is best known for the creation of the television series Fantasy Island.

Robert Mitchell was a writer for several radio programs distributed by major networks such as NBC, CBS, and ABC.

Raymond Chandler (1888-1959) was an American author of detective fiction as well as the creator of the private detective Philip Marlowe.

A diverse cast of individuals worked together to achieve the brilliant sound and performances contained in this audiobook.
