Learn moreHave you ever wondered how and why satellites go to space? A basic explanation of how satellites work, what information they collect, and what happens to them once they are in space is explored through informative and engaging content in this new addition to the How Do series. The How Do series is a great introduction to various STEM topics, each presented in a format that encourages audiences to ask questions and guess the answers before exploring the science behind them.
Jessica Taylor enjoys discovering new things, that's why she became a scientist. She grew up outside of Tampa, Florida, the lightning capital of the world. Watching storms inspired her to study meteorology. Now she lives with her husband and two daughters in Virginia, where they watch and observe the clouds together. She hopes her first children's book inspires young scientists to observe and ask questions about how technology helps us better understand our world.
