Her running mate, who was her husband, is sworn in as president in order to preserve democracy, but in only a short time his behavior has put the Mount Weather community in a state of turmoil. After being honorably discharged as a sergeant in the U.S. Army, David Achord found his true calling in law enforcement. His twenty-five-year career included stints with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. A lifelong Tennessee native, he is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and Cumberland University. David is the author of the Zombie Rules series.
