Carissa Broadbent is the author of the War of Lost Hearts series and the Valtain Preludes series. She has been concerning teachers and parents with mercilessly grim tales since she was roughly nine years old. Today, she writes fantasy novels with a heaping dose of badass ladies and a big pinch of romance. Carissa works as a cybersecurity marketing professional during the harsh light of day, and also a visual artist. She lives with her fiance, one very well behaved rabbit, one very poorly behaved rabbit, and one perpetually skeptical cat in Rhode Island.
Dan Calley has been a professional voice-over artist for over twelve years. He's voiced many projects, from advertisements to documentaries to audiobooks to character work on his award-winning cult comedy sitcom podcast, where he not only voices over ten different characters, but edits, sound designs, and produces the whole thing. He also did stand-up for ten years, reaching the BBC New Comedy Award final in 2011. Since then he's also been an actor, recently starring in the Netflix series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. He currently has over forty audiobooks under his belt and has managed to build a tidy following through his narration work. As such, Dan has recently been nominated for two Goodreads M/M Romance Members' Choice Awards: best audiobook narration of the year for Garrett Leigh's Redemption and all-time favorite m/m narrator.
Esther Wane is a British actor and voice-over artist. After a career in finance Esther fulfilled a childhood dream of going to drama school in London, and her life as an actor began at age forty. She has a lifelong passion for literature and can often be found browsing bookshops at any spare moment. She owes her career in audiobooks to her impression of Joanna Lumley and has since narrated books in many genres, including memoir, politics, romantic fiction, and children's literature. She enjoys taking her listeners on a journey in time and space and bringing the characters on the page to life in their imagination. She lives with her family and collection of books in Hertfordshire, just outside London, where she has built a professional voice studio in the bottom of her garden.
