Jacquelyn is a friend, sister, aunt and nurse leader dedicated to promoting an atmosphere of wholeness and healing to those who have sufferred the loss of a love.Her inspiration is "There is life beyond the grave, don't give up." She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002 and her Master Degree of Science in Public Health from Walden University in 2011. She has been a regisetered nurse for over 20 years and recently received her certification as a Faith Community Nurse. Sandra joined the USAF under the Delayed Enlistment Progr in 1992 while studying electronic technology at ECPI in VA Beach, VA. Upon completion of an Associates in Applied Science, Sandra fully enlisted in the United States Air Force with a special interest in electronics. Sandra served over nine years on active duty as a Telecommunication Technician with two overseas tours and one combat tour all in the European theater of operation. Sandra's time in the service shaped her early adult years, and helped to create an appreciation for experiences in dealing with the stresses of life. Upon completing the military, Sandra acquired a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology. Sandra would go on to become an active member in her church outreach program with the surrounding community. Sandra has a love sharing her experiences. Through her efforts of sharing and caring, Sandra has committed herself to the needs and well-being of others. Currently, Sandra is enjoying her career working within her profession of telecommunications at Wright Patterson, Air Force Base, Ohio. Sandra believes, "in working with the military and other branches of government, the lessons learned and people she encountered has shaped her putlook on life. Sandra is one of the founding members of the Chicago Cluster of the National Association of Black Military Women (NABMW).
