Sean Dowdell was born in 1973 to a lower middle-class family in Phoenix, Arizona. At the age of eighteen he entered the music industry as a drummer and worked his way up, eventually signing three record deals with the late rock legend Chester Bennington of Linkin Park. During his time in the band, Sean, Chester, and Thora (Sean's wife) eventually became partners in building one of the world's only luxury tattoo and piercing studios, Club Tattoo. It grew into six locations in Arizona and on the magnificent Las Vegas Strip, including Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile Shops and The LINQ Hotel & Casino. Sean has two patents on jewelry design and software and is considered an innovator and disruptor within his industry. Sean wrote his first book in 2017 titled Tattooed Millionaire, which describes Sean's journey in creating and building his multi-million-dollar business, Club Tattoo, with less than $8,000.
Thora Dowdell is a full business partner and the force behind developing and expanding the Club Tattoo brand into the multimillion-dollar enterprise it is today. She created and implemented, and still fine-tunes and updates, the business systems and processes that allowed Club Tattoo to run profitably and successfully. She works tirelessly to protect the interests of the owners and the employees, from the front of the shop to the back, as well as providing a consistent, comfortable, and professional customer experience.
