Leading medical innovator Kenneth Bock, MD, has helped change the lives of more than a thousand children, and in this important book he offers help to children everywhere. This is the book that finally puts hope within reach.

Doctors have generally overlooked the connections among the 4-A disorders, despite their concurrent rise and the presence of many medical clues. For years the medical establishment has considered autism medically untreatable and utterly incurable, and has limited ADHD treatment mainly to symptom suppression. Dr. Bock and his colleagues, however, have discovered a solution—one that goes to the root of the problem. They have found that deadly modern toxins, nutritional deficiencies, metabolic imbalances, genetic vulnerabilities and assaults on the immune and gastrointestinal systems trigger most of the symptoms of the 4-A disorders, resulting in frequent misdiagnosis and untold misery.

Dr. Bock’s remarkable Healing Program, drawing on medical research and based on years of clinical success, offers a safe, sensible solution that is individualized to each child to help remedy these root causes.

Kenneth Bock, MD, deals with complex medical problems by integrating "alternative" modalities with conventional medicine into a comprehensive integrative medicine practice. His expertise lies in tackling problems that have been difficult to diagnose and/or treat. These include complex multisymptom, multisystem disorders such as immune disorders, including chronic and/or recurrent infections, autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, Lyme disease and other tick borne disorders as well as multiple childhood disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, asthma and allergies. Dr. Bock's healing program for these complex chronic disorders, including children with what he has termed the "4-A disorders", consists of a multifactorial approach, including environmental controls, dietary modifications, nutritional supplementation, detoxification and medications. He is the co-author of four books: The Road to Immunity, Natural Relief for Your Child's Asthma, The Germ Survival Guide, and Healing the New Childhood Epidemics: Autism, ADHD, Asthma and Allergies.

Cameron Stauth is an American author who has written twenty six books that focus primarily on medicine, and on narrative nonfiction accounts of true stories. A former magazine editor and columnist, several of Stauth's books, including Brain Longevity and The Manhunter, have been national bestsellers, and his books have been published in nine languages and twenty one countries. Stauth was raised in Monmouth, Illinois, where he was a student-broadcaster at radio station WRAM, working for several years with play-by-play announcer Joe Tait, who was later inducted as a broadcaster into the National Basketball Association Hall of Fame. Stauth was also a reporter for the Monmouth Review Atlas and the Galesburg Register Mail. He graduated from the University of Illinois College of Media in 1970, and has since resided on the West Coast. He has been married twice and lives with his children in Portland, Oregon.

Chris Sorensen is a veteran audiobook narrator with over 160 titles to his name. He has received three AudioFile Earphones Awards, and his recording of Sent by Margaret Peterson Haddix (Recorded Books, LLC) was selected as one of the Best Audiobooks of 2010 by AudioFile magazine. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the APA. Chris has worked extensively as an actor, playwright, and screenwriter. He studied at the Rutgers Professional Actor Training Program under William Esper, Edward Stern, and Maggie Flanigan. He is an original member of the Present Company, producers of FringeNYC. The Thin Air Theatre Company of Colorado considers him their playwright-at-large and has produced thirteen of his plays over the past twelve years. He has numerous optioned screenplays and has recently completed his first book for kids, The Mad Scientists of New Jersey.
