Twisty and tense, another great read from Lesley Kara. THE APARTMENT UPSTAIRS is taut, tense, dark and claustrophobic with a creeping sense of menace and a cast of compelling characters. I gulped it down in two sittings. A twisted plot to get my teeth into, believable well written characters and loads of nail-biting suspense. Loved it! Clever and twisty with some brilliant examination of loyalties between friends and within families. Lesley Kara always delivers. The Apartment Upstairs is a brilliantly written, immersive thriller that draws readers into a twisty world of secrets and murder, and doesn't let go until the very last page. Highly recommended.
