Douglas Alan Cohn is the writer and owner of Washington Merry-Go-Round, America’s longest-running syndicated column, founded by Drew Pearson in 1932. A 1968 graduate of West Point, Cohn was a United States Army airborne ranger and led a reconnaissance platoon in Vietnam. His medals include two Silver Stars and a Purple Heart. After convalescing from gunshot wounds to the head, neck, chest, abdomen, leg, and hand, Cohn was retired as a captain. He and his wife of over forty years, Kathryn, have four children and six grandchildren. They reside in McLean, Virginia.
William Hughes is an AudioFile Earphones Award–winning narrator. A professor of political science at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon, he received his doctorate in American politics from the University of California at Davis. He has done voice-over work for radio and film and is also an accomplished jazz guitarist.
