He is the author of 5 horror novels, including Those Across the River and Between Two Fires. His teleplay The Man in the Suitcase aired on Shudder's reboot of Creepshow in 2019. He and his wife, an aerial silk artist, winter in their Ohio cabin when not touring fairs. His latest novel, The Blacktongue Thief, begins a new adventure trilogy with Tor and is his fantasy debut.
