Tracing his life from childhood to the present day, he shares memories of family, his student days at Yale, his military service and travel, and his careers in movies, theater, and television, as well as his share in a Pulitzer Prize.

An actor on stage, film, and television, he was also a narrator, voice-over artist, director, and award-winning producer.
